Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Rollie collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to rollie.page and the services we provide through it.
1. Who we are
Rollie is operated by Bottom Line Online LLC, doing business as Rollie ("Rollie," "we," "us"). Rollie connects local businesses with video creators who make ads for them. A business can connect its Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ad account so that Rollie and the creators working with that business can create and run ads for it. Payments are handled through Stripe.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and, if you set one, a password. You can also sign in with Google, in which case Google tells us your name and email address.
- Business details: business name, contact name, email, phone number, website, the address or area you want to advertise in, your goals for a campaign, and the plan you choose.
- Creator details: your public profile (name, handle, city, bio, social media links, rates and packages), the videos and portfolio items you upload, and your payout setup.
- Messages, comments, approvals and inquiries you send through Rollie, and the emails you send us.
- If you are a creator and connect Google Calendar, an access token for your calendar, your Google account email and the calendar we read for availability.
Information from Meta, with your permission
When a business connects Facebook through Facebook Login for Business, Meta shows the permissions being requested and asks the business to approve them. With that approval we receive:
- An access token. We encrypt it (AES-256-GCM) before it is stored, and it is never sent back to a web browser.
- The permissions you granted.
- The Facebook Pages you manage (Page ID, Page name and the linked Instagram business account ID) and the ad accounts you can use (ad account ID, name and currency), so you can choose which ones Rollie works with. We store the Page and ad account you choose.
- Results of the campaigns created for you, such as ad spend and performance, so we can show you results and calculate any fee that your plan bases on ad spend.
A business can instead add Rollie's Business Manager as a partner on its ad account. In that case Rollie checks the access using its own Meta system user, not the business's login, and records the ad account ID, the account's status, the tasks the business granted to Rollie on that account, and the ID of the business that owns it.
Rollie, or the ad launcher it uses, can create a Meta lead form on the business's Page when a campaign's goal is leads, and the connection asks for Meta's permission to retrieve leads (leads_retrieval) along with the lead-form permissions, so that the people who answer that form can be retrieved for the business. Rollie does not currently download those answers from a business's Page. Any we receive are Meta Platform Data, used only to deliver the service to that business (see section 4).
Information from our own Meta lead forms
Rollie runs its own ads on Facebook and Instagram that invite video creators to apply for our pilot program through a Meta instant form on Rollie's Facebook Page. When you submit one, n8n, the automation service we use, relays your answers from Meta to our servers. We receive:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your answers to the form's questions, which can include how many clients you could bring to Rollie and, if any, the first client's business name, type and website, whether footage is ready, how soon that client could launch, and how many shoots you do each week.
- Meta's IDs for the lead, the form, the Page and the ad, ad set and campaign that showed it, and when you submitted it.
We store this, including your answers exactly as Meta sent them, with your pilot application in our database. We use it to review your application, decide whether it fits the pilot, contact you about it, and measure which of our ads bring in applications.
Information from Stripe
Card details are entered into Stripe's secure form and go directly to Stripe. Rollie never receives or stores your full card number, expiration date or security code. From Stripe we receive a customer ID, the card brand and last four digits, and the status and amounts of payments, invoices, refunds and disputes. For creators who get paid through Rollie, Stripe collects the identity and bank details it needs directly, and we receive the Stripe account ID and whether payouts are enabled.
Usage and device information
- Analytics: we use PostHog to understand how rollie.page is used. It records pages viewed, when you leave a page, clicks and other interactions, and steps such as starting a sign-up, along with your browser, device and IP address. After you sign in or give us your email address, these events are linked to your email address. PostHog can also record how you move through a page, such as scrolling, clicks and mouse movement (session replay), so we can see where the site is hard to use.
- Advertising measurement: some of our own sign-up and checkout pages use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure our advertising. These send Meta the page events and, when you sign up or buy, a hashed (scrambled) version of your email address and first name, an internal ID, your IP address and Meta's browser cookies.
- When you start a checkout or request a pitch, we record your IP address and browser type with that request to help prevent fraud and abuse.
- Cookies: we use cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the sign-in process. PostHog and the Meta Pixel also set cookies on the pages where they run.
Information from public sources
To help creators find local businesses, and to find creators, we collect publicly available information such as business names, websites, addresses, public business phone numbers and email addresses, and public social media profiles and posts. We get it from public websites and from search and social media data providers.
3. How we use information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To provide the service: matching businesses and creators, preparing and running ad campaigns on the ad accounts businesses connect, showing results, and handling approvals.
- To take payments, pay creators, send receipts, and handle refunds and disputes.
- To send service emails and messages, such as sign-in links, receipts and updates about your work.
- To contact local businesses about working with a creator. Every such email includes a way to unsubscribe, and we keep a list of addresses that asked not to be contacted so they are not emailed again.
- To understand how rollie.page is used, fix problems and improve it.
- To measure our own advertising.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and meet legal obligations.
We use AI models from Anthropic to help with some text tasks: drafting outreach and pitch messages, sorting incoming email, and pulling stated facts from a creator's call notes so a person can review them. We send only the text needed for the task.
4. How we use Meta Platform Data
Information we receive from Meta through a business's connection ("Meta Platform Data") is used only to provide the ads service that business connected Rollie for: creating, running and reporting on its ads on its own Pages and ad accounts, and billing for that service.
- We never sell Meta Platform Data or license it to anyone.
- We do not use it to build profiles of people, for any other business's advertising, or for any purpose unrelated to the service the business asked for.
- We share it only with the service providers who host and process it for us, and with the creators working on that business's campaigns where they need it to do that work.
- Our internal ads tool reads the same encrypted connection, so a business does not have to connect Facebook twice.
- We handle Meta Platform Data in line with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, and we delete it when the business asks us to (see our Data Deletion Instructions) or when we no longer need it to provide the service.
6. How long we keep information
- Account, business and creator information: while your account is open, and deleted within 30 days after we verify your request to close your account or delete it.
- Meta access tokens and connected Page and ad account details: until you disconnect Rollie and ask us to delete them, or until we no longer need them to provide the service.
- Payment, invoice and tax records: 7 years, as tax and accounting law requires.
- Analytics data: up to 24 months.
- Records of the consents and ad approvals you gave: as long as we need them to show what you authorized, up to 7 years, and then deleted.
- Backups: copies roll off within 30 days.
- Unsubscribe and do-not-contact records: kept so we can honor your request not to be contacted.
7. Security
rollie.page is served over HTTPS. Meta access tokens and Google Calendar tokens are encrypted before they are stored. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers. Many changes staff make through our admin tools, including changes to billing, staff roles and account access, are recorded in an audit log. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission. If that happens, we will notify you as the law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access, correct or delete: email us at damian@rollietalent.com and we will help you see, fix or delete your information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
- Delete your data: follow our Data Deletion Instructions.
- Disconnect Rollie from Meta at any time. In Meta Business settings, remove Rollie under Partners (if you added Rollie as a partner) or under Connected apps / Business integrations. On a personal Facebook profile, go to Settings, then Apps and websites or Business integrations, and remove Rollie. Meta sometimes renames these menus.
- Unsubscribe from outreach and marketing email with the link in any such email.
- Limit cookies and tracking through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may stop sign-in from working.
9. Children
Rollie is a service for businesses and working creators. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it. You must be 18 or older to hold a Rollie account.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, we will also tell you by email or with a notice on rollie.page.
